FOOTWEAR FOR INSOLES (CPP)

Footwear that ensures the fit and effectiveness of the plantar orthesis by virtue of the following features:

FOOTWEAR FOR INSOLES LAST

Designed so that the footwear allows the volume formed by the FOOT + INSOLE to be accommodated.

COUNTER

The counter in the footwear for insoles is longer and stiffer than in conventional footwear to stabilise the calcaneum and provide a pattern for normal walking. The consistency of the counter must be maintained throughout the useful life of the footwear.

SOLE

Manufactured using special materials giving a balance between abrasion and friction to keep the morphology of the sole and prevent slipping.

HEEL

Thomas or straight, manufactured from rubber of a specific density to provide shock absorption and avoid deformation.

MENDIVIL has been working closely with Valencia Biomechanics Institute (IBV) for several years on various projects, particulary "Assessing and improving the fitting properties of childrens shoes", which has produced criteria for the design of children footwear in several European Union countries and whose end result is the development of "Innovative Products" in accordance with current scientific criteria.
